CELEBRATING 30 YEARS

Changing Lives
Renewing Churches
Transforming the World

Love Your Neighbor

On October 7, 1990, a new church – with no building and a young pastor – launched with worship in the small chapel of the McGilley Funeral Home on State Line Road. This October, Church of the Resurrection celebrates our 30th Anniversary!

Today a lot is different, but one thing has not changed since 1990. Church of the Resurrection continues to welcome all to join us as we build a Christian community where non-religious and nominally religious people are becoming deeply committed Christians. Lives are being changed, churches strengthened and communities transformed as Resurrection serves God through mission and ministry.

To celebrate our 30th Anniversary, we are focusing on Jesus’ commandment to love one another and the call to love our neighbors as an expression of our faith.

Share YOUR Resurrection Story

As we prepare to celebrate the Church of the Resurrection’s 30th Anniversary in October, we invite you to share your story about the impact Resurrection has had on your life, ministry or church.

Of the stories submitted, four will be randomly selected and the submitters will be invited to share dinner (either via Zoom or in person) with Pastor Adam and LaVon.

We have two ways you can share your story of how Resurrection has changed your life:

  1. Post a short video on your social media accounts and tag the church.
  2. Click the button and complete the form.
