After a year filled with darkness and uncertainty, we all long for a message of hope. That is what Easter offers: light overcomes darkness, love defeats hate, and life conquers death. Join us this Easter as together we celebrate Easter and its message of hope!
Worship with a welcoming community, inspiring music and a hope-filled message either online or in person at Resurrection. Registration is required for in-person attendance.
Join us online for a beautiful, moving Easter celebration. Throughout the day we will offer two styles of music that will be available at each worship time. Modern worship features our full worship band and a mixture of new and classic songs. Traditional worship features previously recorded (pre-COVID) musical selections from our full choir and orchestra, as well as live performances with smaller groups of classical musicians.
Join us in person for a beautiful, moving Easter celebration. We will have services at each of our campuses in the Kansas City area. In-person worship will require reservations to attend, and we expect all attendees to wear masks and maintain appropriate social distancing. Limited childcare is available for kids 2 and under at the 9 and 11 am services with childcare registration.
All times are CDT.
Each of our locations is having an outdoor, socially-distanced Easter egg hunt this year. Each location has their own spin on it, so take a look at the links below to find out more.
We have beautiful outdoor prayer walks available at our Leawood and West (Olathe) locations, and we encourage you to stroll through these sacred spaces. Each stop on the prayer walks have guided prayers available, or you may want to simply reflect on the past year in anticipation of the new day that is coming.
We'll have a special time of online worship led by the COR Worship Collective Thursday at 7:30 pm, and it will also be available to watch (or re-watch) all day Friday.
Throughout Holy Week, you can spend time in prayer, reflecting on Jesus’ life through stations along our Prayer Walks at Resurrection Leawood (south of Building A) or Resurrection West (east of the building).
On Good Friday, set aside time during the day to join us for a virtual prayer vigil as we remember and reflect on Jesus' crucifixion. You can follow the prayer guide here.
